כִּ֣י אִם־אֵינְךָ֮ מְשַׁלֵּ֣חַ אֶת־עַמִּי֒ הִנְנִי֩ מַשְׁלִ֨יחַ בְּךָ֜ וּבַעֲבָדֶ֧יךָ וּֽבְעַמְּךָ֛ וּבְבָתֶּ֖יךָ אֶת־הֶעָרֹ֑ב וּמָ֨לְא֜וּ בָּתֵּ֤י מִצְרַ֙יִם֙ אֶת־הֶ֣עָרֹ֔ב וְגַ֥ם הָאֲדָמָ֖ה אֲשֶׁר־הֵ֥ם עָלֶֽיהָ׃
Sebab jika engkau tidak membiarkan umat-Ku pergi, lihatlah, Aku akan melepaskan kawanan binatang buas yang bercampur-baur untuk menyerang engkau, para pegawaimu, rakyatmu, dan rumah-rumahmu. Rumah-rumah orang Mesir akan penuh dengan kawanan binatang buas itu, bahkan tanah tempat mereka berada pun akan penuh.
