שִׂ֤ישִׂי וְשִׂמְחִי֙ בַּת־אֱד֔וֹם יושבתי [יוֹשֶׁ֖בֶת] בְּאֶ֣רֶץ ע֑וּץ גַּם־עָלַ֙יִךְ֙ תַּעֲבָר־כּ֔וֹס תִּשְׁכְּרִ֖י וְתִתְעָרִֽי׃ (ס)
Bersukarialah dan bergembiralah, hai putri Edom, yang tinggal di negeri Us! Cawan itu akan sampai juga kepadamu; engkau akan mabuk dan muntah-muntah.

Tu seras gorgé, toi, de plus d’ignominie que d’honneur. A ton tour de boire et de dévoiler ta honte! Le calice de la droite de l’Éternel va passer à toi: ce sera un amas d’infamie recouvrant ta gloire.
