וְדָרַשְׁתָּ֧ וְחָקַרְתָּ֧ וְשָׁאַלְתָּ֖ הֵיטֵ֑ב וְהִנֵּ֤ה אֱמֶת֙ נָכ֣וֹן הַדָּבָ֔ר נֶעֶשְׂתָ֛ה הַתּוֹעֵבָ֥ה הַזֹּ֖את בְּקִרְבֶּֽךָ׃
maka haruslah engkau menyelidiki, memeriksa, dan menanyakannya dengan saksama. Jika ternyata hal itu benar dan pasti, bahwa kekejian ini telah dilakukan di tengah-tengahmu,
