לֹֽא־יָקוּם֩ עֵ֨ד אֶחָ֜ד בְּאִ֗ישׁ לְכָל־עָוֺן֙ וּלְכָל־חַטָּ֔את בְּכָל־חֵ֖טְא אֲשֶׁ֣ר יֶֽחֱטָ֑א עַל־פִּ֣י ׀ שְׁנֵ֣י עֵדִ֗ים א֛וֹ עַל־פִּ֥י שְׁלֹשָֽׁה־עֵדִ֖ים יָק֥וּם דָּבָֽר׃
Satu orang saksi saja tidak dapat menjatuhkan hukuman atas seseorang karena kesalahan apa pun atau dosa apa pun, dalam pelanggaran apa pun yang dilakukannya; hanya berdasarkan keterangan dua orang saksi atau berdasarkan keterangan tiga orang saksi suatu perkara dapat ditetapkan.

If anyone kills a person, only upon the testimony of witnesses shall the murderer be killed. But one witness may not testify against a person, in a case of capital punishment.
