וַיִּגַּשׁ֙ וַיִּשַּׁק־ל֔וֹ וַיָּ֛רַח אֶת־רֵ֥יחַ בְּגָדָ֖יו וַֽיְבָרֲכֵ֑הוּ וַיֹּ֗אמֶר רְאֵה֙ רֵ֣יחַ בְּנִ֔י כְּרֵ֣יחַ שָׂדֶ֔ה אֲשֶׁ֥ר בֵּרֲכ֖וֹ יְהוָֽה׃
Lalu ia mendekat dan mencium Ishak. Ishak mencium bau pakaiannya, lalu memberkatinya dan berkata, “Lihatlah, bau anakku seperti bau padang yang telah diberkati oleh Yang Mahakekal.
Targum Jonathan
and Jakob drew near and kissed him. And he smelled the smell of his vestments, and blessed him, and said, See, the smell of my son is as the smell of the fragrant incense which is to be offered on the mountain of the house of the sanctuary, which shall be called a field which the Lord hath blessed, and that He hath chosen, that therein His Shekinah might dwell.
Targum Jerusalem
Like the sweet smell of fragrant incense coming from the holy temple mountain, which the Lord blessed, living and enduring.
