עִ֠ם אֲשֶׁ֨ר תִּמְצָ֣א אֶת־אֱלֹהֶיךָ֮ לֹ֣א יִֽחְיֶה֒ נֶ֣גֶד אַחֵ֧ינוּ הַֽכֶּר־לְךָ֛ מָ֥ה עִמָּדִ֖י וְקַֽח־לָ֑ךְ וְלֹֽא־יָדַ֣ע יַעֲקֹ֔ב כִּ֥י רָחֵ֖ל גְּנָבָֽתַם׃
Siapa pun yang padanya engkau menemukan allah-allahmu, ia tidak akan hidup. Di hadapan sanak saudara kita, periksalah apa yang ada padaku yang menjadi milikmu, lalu ambillah.” Yakub tidak tahu bahwa Rahel telah mencurinya.
Targum Jonathan
With whomsoever thou shalt find the images of thy idols, let him die before his time. Before all our brethren take knowledge of what with me is thine, and take it. But Jakob knew not that Rahel had stolen them.
