וּלְכֹ֣ל ׀ בְּנֵ֣י יִשְׂרָאֵ֗ל לֹ֤א יֶֽחֱרַץ־כֶּ֙לֶב֙ לְשֹׁנ֔וֹ לְמֵאִ֖ישׁ וְעַד־בְּהֵמָ֑ה לְמַ֙עַן֙ תֵּֽדְע֔וּן אֲשֶׁר֙ יַפְלֶ֣ה יְהוָ֔ה בֵּ֥ין מִצְרַ֖יִם וּבֵ֥ין יִשְׂרָאֵֽל׃
Tetapi terhadap semua orang Israel, tidak seekor anjing pun akan menggerakkan lidahnya untuk menggonggong, baik terhadap manusia maupun terhadap hewan, supaya kamu tahu bahwa Yang Mahakekal membedakan antara Mesir dan Israel.
Targum Jonathan
But any of the children of Israel a dog shall not harm by lifting up his tongue against either man or beast; that they may know that the Lord maketh distinction between the Mizraites and the sons of Israel.
