כִּֽי־יִתֵּן֩ אִ֨ישׁ אֶל־רֵעֵ֜הוּ חֲמ֨וֹר אוֹ־שׁ֥וֹר אוֹ־שֶׂ֛ה וְכָל־בְּהֵמָ֖ה לִשְׁמֹ֑ר וּמֵ֛ת אוֹ־נִשְׁבַּ֥ר אוֹ־נִשְׁבָּ֖ה אֵ֥ין רֹאֶֽה׃
Apabila seseorang menitipkan seekor keledai, seekor lembu, seekor domba, atau hewan apa pun kepada sesamanya untuk dijaga, lalu hewan itu mati, patah anggota tubuhnya, atau dirampas orang, tanpa ada seorang pun yang melihatnya,

If a man deliver to his neighbour all ox, or a sheep, or any animal to keep, (if) he is to keep it without recompense, and it die, or be torn by wild beast, or be carried off, and no witness seeing who can testify it;
