לָ֤מָּה ׀ תְּֽרַצְּדוּן֮ הָרִ֪ים גַּבְנֻ֫נִּ֥ים הָהָ֗ר חָמַ֣ד אֱלֹהִ֣ים לְשִׁבְתּ֑וֹ אַף־יְ֝הוָ֗ה יִשְׁכֹּ֥ן לָנֶֽצַח׃
Mengapa kamu mengintai, hai gunung-gunung yang berpuncak tinggi? Inilah gunung yang diingini Allah menjadi tempat kediaman-Nya; sungguh, Yang Mahakekal akan bersemayam di sana untuk selama-lamanya.

Said God: Why are you leaping, mountains? It is not My will to give the Torah upon proud scornful mountains! This Mount Sinai, which is humble; the word of the LORD desires to dwell upon it; even His presence in the heavens of heavens, the LORD will dwell forever.
