וְהָיְתָ֣ה עִמּ֔וֹ וְקָ֥רָא ב֖וֹ כָּל־יְמֵ֣י חַיָּ֑יו לְמַ֣עַן יִלְמַ֗ד לְיִרְאָה֙ אֶת־יְהוָ֣ה אֱלֹהָ֔יו לִ֠שְׁמֹר אֶֽת־כָּל־דִּבְרֵ֞י הַתּוֹרָ֥ה הַזֹּ֛את וְאֶת־הַחֻקִּ֥ים הָאֵ֖לֶּה לַעֲשֹׂתָֽם׃
Taurat itu harus ada padanya, dan ia harus membacanya seumur hidupnya, supaya ia belajar takut akan Yang Mahakekal, Allahnya, untuk berpegang pada segala perkataan Taurat ini dan ketetapan-ketetapan ini, dengan melakukannya.
