עֵֽינֵיכֶם֙ הָֽרֹאֹ֔ת אֵ֛ת אֲשֶׁר־עָשָׂ֥ה יְהוָ֖ה בְּבַ֣עַל פְּע֑וֹר כִּ֣י כָל־הָאִ֗ישׁ אֲשֶׁ֤ר הָלַךְ֙ אַחֲרֵ֣י בַֽעַל־פְּע֔וֹר הִשְׁמִיד֛וֹ יְהוָ֥ה אֱלֹהֶ֖יךָ מִקִּרְבֶּֽךָ׃
Matamu sendiri telah melihat apa yang dilakukan Yang Mahakekal karena peristiwa Baal-Peor: setiap orang yang mengikuti Baal-Peor telah dibinasakan oleh Yang Mahakekal, Allahmu, dari tengah-tengahmu.
