וְשָׁמַעְתָּ֤ יִשְׂרָאֵל֙ וְשָׁמַרְתָּ֣ לַעֲשׂ֔וֹת אֲשֶׁר֙ יִיטַ֣ב לְךָ֔ וַאֲשֶׁ֥ר תִּרְבּ֖וּן מְאֹ֑ד כַּאֲשֶׁר֩ דִּבֶּ֨ר יְהוָ֜ה אֱלֹהֵ֤י אֲבֹתֶ֙יךָ֙ לָ֔ךְ אֶ֛רֶץ זָבַ֥ת חָלָ֖ב וּדְבָֽשׁ׃ (פ)
Maka dengarlah, hai Israel, dan jagalah baik-baik untuk melakukannya, supaya baik keadaanmu dan supaya kamu bertambah sangat banyak, sebagaimana yang dijanjikan Yang Mahakekal, Allah nenek moyangmu, kepadamu, yaitu negeri yang berlimpah susu dan madu.
Targum Jonathan
Hearken then, Israel, to keep and to do, that it may be well with thee, and you may increase greatly, as the Lord God of thy fathers hath spoken to thee, (that) He will give thee a land whose fruits are rich as milk, and sweet as honey.
Targum Jerusalem
A land producing good fruits, pure as milk, sweet and tasty as honey.
Tafsir Rasag
So listen to this, O Israel. And commit your memory to it and act upon it so that you may fear Him so that you may greatly increase as God promised you and your forefathers, in a land flowing with milk and honey
