אַל־תֹּאמַ֣ר בִּלְבָבְךָ֗ בַּהֲדֹ֣ף יְהוָה֩ אֱלֹהֶ֨יךָ אֹתָ֥ם ׀ מִלְּפָנֶיךָ֮ לֵאמֹר֒ בְּצִדְקָתִי֙ הֱבִיאַ֣נִי יְהוָ֔ה לָרֶ֖שֶׁת אֶת־הָאָ֣רֶץ הַזֹּ֑את וּבְרִשְׁעַת֙ הַגּוֹיִ֣ם הָאֵ֔לֶּה יְהוָ֖ה מוֹרִישָׁ֥ם מִפָּנֶֽיךָ׃
Janganlah berkata dalam hatimu, ketika Yang Mahakekal, Allahmu, menyingkirkan mereka dari hadapanmu: “Karena kebenarankulah Yang Mahakekal membawa aku masuk untuk menduduki negeri ini”, dan bahwa karena kejahatan bangsa-bangsa inilah Yang Mahakekal menghalau mereka dari hadapanmu.

Speak not in your heart when the Lord your God hath driven them away from before you saying, For the sake of my righteousness hath the Lord brought me in to inherit this land; for on account of the sins of these people the Lord driveth them out before you.
