וּמָצָ֤א אֹתוֹ֙ גֹּאֵ֣ל הַדָּ֔ם מִח֕וּץ לִגְב֖וּל עִ֣יר מִקְלָט֑וֹ וְרָצַ֞ח גֹּאֵ֤ל הַדָּם֙ אֶת־הָ֣רֹצֵ֔חַ אֵ֥ין ל֖וֹ דָּֽם׃
lalu penuntut balas darah menemukannya di luar batas kota perlindungannya, dan penuntut balas darah itu membunuh orang yang membunuh itu, maka ia tidak menanggung utang darah.
Tosefta Terumot
The slave of a priest who escaped, or the wife of a priest who rebelled, behold, they may [nonetheless] eat terumah. And the [inadvertent] killer may not go outside the border of his sanctuary city (Num. 35:27) due to the presumption that that the High Priest is still alive.
