Chasidut su Deuteronomio 18:18

Scripture is explicit that the primary function of the prophet is to instruct Israel regarding God’s word: “I will establish a prophet, and I have placed My words in his mouth, and he will speak to them all that I command him.” (Deut. 18:18) Who may overlook the Targum’s174Canonical Aramaic translation of the Bible, on various books, refers to either (primarily) Targum Onkelos or Targum (pseudo-)Jonathan. In this case, see Targum Pseudo-Jonathan to I Samuel 10:5. rendering on the words “And you will meet a band of prophets... and they will be prophesying ... and you will prophesize along with them…”175I Samuel 10:5-6. , rendered as ‘and they will be praising...and you will praise with them.” This is written specifically regarding the other prophets, whose words were not recorded, and yet [we see that] they, too, issued praises of God, not just portents.
