בְּשַׁלְוָ֞ה וּבְמִשְׁמַנֵּ֣י מְדִינָה֮ יָבוֹא֒ וְעָשָׂ֗ה אֲשֶׁ֨ר לֹא־עָשׂ֤וּ אֲבֹתָיו֙ וַאֲב֣וֹת אֲבֹתָ֔יו בִּזָּ֧ה וְשָׁלָ֛ל וּרְכ֖וּשׁ לָהֶ֣ם יִבְז֑וֹר וְעַ֧ל מִבְצָרִ֛ים יְחַשֵּׁ֥ב מַחְשְׁבֹתָ֖יו וְעַד־עֵֽת׃
In tempo di sicurezza verrà anche nei luoghi più grassi della provincia; e farà ciò che i suoi padri non hanno fatto, né i suoi padri'padri: egli spargerà tra loro prede, vizi e sostanza; sì, inventerà i suoi dispositivi contro le fortezze, ma solo fino a quel momento.
