וְרָאִ֗יתִי כִּ֣י אֵ֥ין טוֹב֙ מֵאֲשֶׁ֨ר יִשְׂמַ֤ח הָאָדָם֙ בְּֽמַעֲשָׂ֔יו כִּי־ה֖וּא חֶלְק֑וֹ כִּ֣י מִ֤י יְבִיאֶ֙נּוּ֙ לִרְא֔וֹת בְּמֶ֖ה שֶׁיִּהְיֶ֥ה אַחֲרָֽיו׃

Pertanto ho percepito che non c'è niente di meglio, che un uomo dovrebbe rallegrarsi delle sue opere; poiché quella è la sua parte; per chi lo porterà a vedere che cosa sarà dopo di lui?

“I saw that there is nothing better…for who will bring him to see?” Who will bring David to see what Solomon did? Who will bring Solomon to see what will be after him, what Reḥavam did?
