Commento su Esdra 10:2
וַיַּעַן֩ שְׁכַנְיָ֨ה בֶן־יְחִיאֵ֜ל מִבְּנֵ֤י עולם [עֵילָם֙] וַיֹּ֣אמֶר לְעֶזְרָ֔א אֲנַ֙חְנוּ֙ מָעַ֣לְנוּ בֵאלֹהֵ֔ינוּ וַנֹּ֛שֶׁב נָשִׁ֥ים נָכְרִיּ֖וֹת מֵעַמֵּ֣י הָאָ֑רֶץ וְעַתָּ֛ה יֵשׁ־מִקְוֶ֥ה לְיִשְׂרָאֵ֖ל עַל־זֹֽאת׃
E Shecaniah, figlio di Jehiel, uno dei figli di Elam, rispose e disse a Esdra: 'Abbiamo rotto la fede con il nostro Dio e abbiamo sposato donne straniere dei popoli della terra; eppure ora c'è speranza per Israele riguardo a questa cosa.
