וָאֹמַ֗ר אֲהָהּ֙ אֲדֹנָ֣י יְהוִ֔ה הִנֵּ֥ה נַפְשִׁ֖י לֹ֣א מְטֻמָּאָ֑ה וּנְבֵלָ֨ה וּטְרֵפָ֤ה לֹֽא־אָכַ֙לְתִּי֙ מִנְּעוּרַ֣י וְעַד־עַ֔תָּה וְלֹא־בָ֥א בְּפִ֖י בְּשַׂ֥ר פִּגּֽוּל׃ (ס)
Poi ho detto: 'Ah Signore DIO! ecco, la mia anima non è stata inquinata; poiché dalla mia giovinezza fino ad ora non ho mangiato ciò che muore di se stesso o è strappato dalle bestie; nessuno dei due è venuto là per aver odiato carne nella mia bocca.'
