כִּ֣י שָׁמַ֜עְתִּי דִּבַּ֣ת רַבִּים֮ מָג֣וֹר מִסָּבִיב֒ הַגִּ֙ידוּ֙ וְנַגִּידֶ֔נּוּ כֹּ֚ל אֱנ֣וֹשׁ שְׁלוֹמִ֔י שֹׁמְרֵ֖י צַלְעִ֑י אוּלַ֤י יְפֻתֶּה֙ וְנ֣וּכְלָה ל֔וֹ וְנִקְחָ֥ה נִקְמָתֵ֖נוּ מִמֶּֽנּוּ׃
Perché ho sentito il sussurro di molti, terrore da ogni parte: 'Denunciamo e lo denunciamo'; Anche di tutti i miei amici familiari, quelli che guardano per il mio arresto:'Pervaderà sarà allettato, e noi prevarremo contro di lui, e ci vendicheremo su di lui.'
