מָֽה־הוֹעִ֣יל פֶּ֗סֶל כִּ֤י פְסָלוֹ֙ יֹֽצְר֔וֹ מַסֵּכָ֖ה וּמ֣וֹרֶה שָּׁ֑קֶר כִּ֣י בָטַ֞ח יֹצֵ֤ר יִצְרוֹ֙ עָלָ֔יו לַעֲשׂ֖וֹת אֱלִילִ֥ים אִלְּמִֽים׃ (ס)
Ciò che guadagna l'immagine scolpita, che il creatore di essa l'ha scolpita, perfino l'immagine fusa, e l'insegnante di menzogne; Che il creatore del suo lavoro si fida di esso, per fare idoli muti?
