נַפְשִׁ֤י אִוִּיתִ֙יךָ֙ בַּלַּ֔יְלָה אַף־רוּחִ֥י בְקִרְבִּ֖י אֲשַֽׁחֲרֶ֑ךָּ כִּ֞י כַּאֲשֶׁ֤ר מִשְׁפָּטֶ֙יךָ֙ לָאָ֔רֶץ צֶ֥דֶק לָמְד֖וּ יֹשְׁבֵ֥י תֵבֵֽל׃
Con la mia anima ti ho desiderato nella notte; Sì, con il mio spirito dentro di me ti ho cercato seriamente; Perché quando i tuoi giudizi sono sulla terra, gli abitanti del mondo imparano la giustizia.

נפשי My soul, that is, the thought of my soul,8A. V., With my soul, with my spirit. אויתיך I desired thee, and אשחרך Will I seek thee early, are, according to I. E., the thoughts which fill the soul and spirit of the righteous, and are, therefore, by a kind of metonymy, called their soul and spirit. was בלילה אויתיך I have desired Thee in the night;
