לְמַ֨עַן טְבֹ֤חַ טֶ֙בַח֙ הוּחַ֔דָּה לְמַעַן־הֱיֵה־לָ֥הּ בָּ֖רָק מֹרָ֑טָּה א֣וֹ נָשִׂ֔ישׂ שֵׁ֥בֶט בְּנִ֖י מֹאֶ֥סֶת כָּל־עֵֽץ׃

È affilato che può provocare un massacro doloroso, È rinnovato che può scintillare— O dovremmo fare allegria?— Contro la verga di mio figlio, disprezzando ogni albero.
