Commento su Geremia 8:9

הֹבִ֣ישׁוּ חֲכָמִ֔ים חַ֖תּוּ וַיִּלָּכֵ֑דוּ הִנֵּ֤ה בִדְבַר־יְהוָה֙ מָאָ֔סוּ וְחָכְמַֽת־מֶ֖ה לָהֶֽם׃ (ס)

I saggi si vergognano, sono sgomenti e presi; ecco, hanno rigettato la parola dell'Eterno; e quale saggezza c'è in loro?

Wise men were ashamed i.e., wise men like you. And what is the shame? Behold, they rejected the word of the Lord, now what wisdom have they?
