אֽוֹי־לִ֣י אִמִּ֔י כִּ֣י יְלִדְתִּ֗נִי אִ֥ישׁ רִ֛יב וְאִ֥ישׁ מָד֖וֹן לְכָל־הָאָ֑רֶץ לֹֽא־נָשִׁ֥יתִי וְלֹא־נָֽשׁוּ־בִ֖י כֻּלֹּ֥ה מְקַלְלַֽונִי׃ (ס)

Guai a me, mia madre, che mi hai portato Un uomo in conflitto e un uomo conteso su tutta la terra! Non ho prestato, né mi sono prestati uomini; Eppure ognuno di loro mi maledice.
