Commento su Giudici 1:19

וַיְהִ֤י יְהוָה֙ אֶתּ־יְהוּדָ֔ה וַיֹּ֖רֶשׁ אֶת־הָהָ֑ר כִּ֣י לֹ֤א לְהוֹרִישׁ֙ אֶת־יֹשְׁבֵ֣י הָעֵ֔מֶק כִּי־רֶ֥כֶב בַּרְזֶ֖ל לָהֶֽם׃

E l'Eterno era con Giuda; e scacciò gli abitanti delle colline; poiché non poteva scacciare gli abitanti della valle, perché avevano carri di ferro.

However, he could not oust. [Targum] Yonasan interprets: Afterward, as they had sinned, they could not oust the valley dwellers.
