כִּֽי־בְחַנְתָּ֥נוּ אֱלֹהִ֑ים צְ֝רַפְתָּ֗נוּ כִּצְרָף־כָּֽסֶף׃
Perché tu, o Dio, ci hai provato; Ci hai raffinato, come l'argento è raffinato.
