אֱלֹהִ֤ים ׀ אֵלִ֥י אַתָּ֗ה אֲ‍ֽשַׁחֲ֫רֶ֥ךָּ צָמְאָ֬ה לְךָ֨ ׀ נַפְשִׁ֗י כָּמַ֣הּ לְךָ֣ בְשָׂרִ֑י בְּאֶֽרֶץ־צִיָּ֖ה וְעָיֵ֣ף בְּלִי־מָֽיִם׃

O Dio, tu sei il mio Dio, sinceramente ti cercherò; La mia anima ha sete di te, la mia carne ti desidera ardentemente, in una terra asciutta e stanca, dove non c'è acqua.
