וְהָאֹרֵ֣ב הֵחִ֔ישׁוּ וַֽיִּפְשְׁט֖וּ אֶל־הַגִּבְעָ֑ה וַיִּמְשֹׁךְ֙ הָאֹרֵ֔ב וַיַּ֥ךְ אֶת־כָּל־הָעִ֖יר לְפִי־חָֽרֶב׃
E i liers-in-wait si affrettarono e si precipitarono su Gibeah; e i lier-in-wait si fecero avanti e colpirono tutta la città con il bordo della spada.

The ambushers sounded the signal. The shofar blast. Another interpretation: With the shofar, they drew the people with them to the city.
