And, according to this, if one wanted to leave his business partner, thinking that others would join in partnership with him, and in the end, this did not materialize (as also a groom from his shidduch [match]), it is forbidden to reveal this [intention] to his first partner, even though the matter had been heard before three or more, as we have written in section 3. For certainly he [the first partner] will hold it against his partner for wanting to leave him, as it is written (Judges 11:7): "And why do you come to me [Yiftach] now, when you are in distress?" And this might be cause for the dissolution of their partnership or for the first to distress the second, as the Rambam writes (Hilchoth Deoth 7:5): "And if one tells another things… that lead his friend to be harmed in his body or in his possessions or to be distressed or frightened, this is lashon hara."
