אַל־תִּבָּהֵ֤ל מִפָּנָיו֙ תֵּלֵ֔ךְ אַֽל־תַּעֲמֹ֖ד בְּדָבָ֣ר רָ֑ע כִּ֛י כָּל־אֲשֶׁ֥ר יַחְפֹּ֖ץ יַעֲשֶֽׂה׃
Non avere fretta di uscire dalla sua presenza; non stare in una cosa malvagia; poiché egli fa qualunque cosa gli piaccia.

The reader should always aim to begin reading with a subject favorable for Israel and to end with a subject favorable for Israel. Likewise, he should not end where the evil deed of someone is recorded.48Based on the verse אַל תַּעֲמוֹד בְּדָבָר רָע—“Do not stop at something evil” (Eccl. 8:3).
