Later, "he may not put her away" into exile, "all his days" because "she shall be his wife." This is like the words, "And I will betroth you to Me forever" (Hosea 2:21), and another verse, "For your Maker is your husband. Hashem Tzva'ot is His name" (Isaiah 54:5). "You shall no more be termed forsaken" (Isaiah 62:4). For even though the Shechinah is in exile, the Holy One, blessed be He, does not move from her.
