Kabbalah su Proverbi 11:78

Zohar

Come and behold. Once they cast Jonah into the sea, it is written, "And the sea ceased (lit. 'stood') from its raging." (This is) the supernal sea (i.e. the Nukvah). It stood where it was, for when anger calms down, it stands. When judgement is passed upon the world, that court (i.e. the Nukvah) is like a pregnant woman experiencing severe labor pains. When she gives birth, the panic ceases. Similarly, when judgement is passed upon the world, it does not calm or rest until justice is administered to the wicked. Then it rests, wholly standing in its place and perfectly maintained. This is what the verse meant by the words, "But when the wicked perish, there is jubilation" (Mishlei 11:10). This has already been explained.

Shaarei Kedusha

We see that when bad character traits are embedded in a person they obstruct him from fulfilling Torah and mitzvoth. Even if he does fulfill them, it will not be for the sake of heaven and they will be very burdensome to him. About such a person scripture states25Proverbs 11, “A golden ring in the snout of a pig”, because his impurity is still within him, vested within the Kelipot. This is as our sages, of blessed memory said26Talmud Yoma 75, “If a person is meritorious, his Torah learning becomes a life-giving elixir. However, if he is not meritorious it becomes fatally poisonous”. However, if a person rises up to overcome his evil inclination and battles against it until, through great effort, he rids himself of his bad character traits, and thus truly fulfills Torah and mitzvoth; he is called a “Perfect Tzaddik”, a “G-d Fearing Person” and a “Mighty Warrior who conquers his evil inclination”. Moreover, if a person advances himself in this, accustoming himself to it to an even greater degree, until he totally rids himself of all bad traits, so that his soul no longer lusts after them at all and he acquires the good traits to the point that they, literally, become natural to him, in that he no longer need battle against the evil inclination, since both his body and fundamental soul have been thoroughly cleansed of all physical dross, as Sefer HaTikunim comments27 Tikun 31 and 48on the verse28Exodus 3, “Take your shoes off your feet” in regard to Moses; then the four letters of G-d’s name (הוי"ה) become invested in him and he becomes a holy seat for G-d’s chariot, Blessed is He. Such a person is called a “Friend of G-d out of love”. He is called a “Perfect Chassid”, “One who is perfect with every kind of perfection”.

From this we see that when a Chassid is occupied in the study of Torah or in performing the mitzvoth or in good character traits; if even a hint of motivation to receive a reward is mixed into it, he is a Chassid for himself, as in the verse48Proverbs 11:17, “A man of kindness (Ish Chessed) brings goodness upon himself.” This is because when he fulfills the mitzvoth he brings goodness upon himself. Therefore, he is called a “Man of Chessed” rather than a “Chassid”, because he does himself the kindness. Only a person whose sole motivation is to do a kindness to his Master can be truly called a “Chassid” and a “Holy Man”. This is because he has become purified from all impurities and has sanctified himself in G-d’s holiness, Blessed is He. We find that the term קדושה-Kedushah (holiness) means “preparation”, as in the verse49Numbers 11:18, “Prepare50 The word here for “prepare yourselves” is Hitkadshoo-“sanctify yourselves” (התקדשו).yourselves for tomorrow and you shall eat meat”. This is because such a person makes himself the vehicle for G-d’s holiness, Blessed is He. As mentioned above, rather than caring about his own glory, he only cares about his Master’s glory.

Zohar

"And on that day Hashem Tzva'ot called to weeping, to mourning, to baldness, and to girding with sackcloth" (Yeshayah 22:12). This means that only on that day, when the Temple was destroyed (did He call). But aside from that day, there is no greater joy for the Holy One blessed be He, than when the wicked of the world, who provoke Him, are removed from this world. As it is written: "And when the wicked perish there is joy" (Mishlei 11:10). So in each generation, when judgment is executed on wicked people, there is joy and songs before the Holy one, blessed be He.

Reshit Chokhmah

56. Come and behold: daily, the faithful guide MALCHUT according to their wishes; SHE DOES AS THEY DECREE. Who are the faithful? Those who stir good, YESOD, towards her, BY GIVING CHARITY without sparing their own, knowing that the Holy One, blessed be He, will give them more, as is written: “There is one who gives freely, and yet increases” (Mishlei 11:24). What is the reason for this? That YESOD arouses blessings before him. He must not say, ‘what shall I do tomorrow if I give now,’ since the Holy One, blessed be He, bestows upon him blessings without end, as explained.

Zohar

For the conversion of a particular convert, the soul flies out from that chamber, and enters under the wings of the Shechina. And She kisses it, since it is the fruit of the righteous ones, and sends it into that convert, and it steeps within. From that moment, they are called a "Ger Tzedek" (righteous convert). This is what the verse alludes to (Mishlei 11:30), "The fruit of the righteous is a tree of life." Just as the tree of life produces souls, so too the righteous person can produce fruit, by making souls.

Idra Zuta

Blessed is the portion of the righteous, of whom it is written, “but he that is of a faithful spirit conceals the matter” (Mishlei 11:13). “A faithful spirit” surely, for their spirit is pulled from a lofty sacred place, that is, from the central column, which is why they are considered as having “a faithful spirit.” We have explained this sign. Whoever reveals secrets is known to have a soul not from the body of the holy king, who is Zeir Anpin, that is, the central column. Thus, he has no secret, not coming from a place with secrets. When his soul leaves his body, it does not cleave to the king’s body, for it is not its place. Woe to that person, woe to his soul. Blessed is the portion of the righteous who conceal secrets, more so the highest secrets of the Holy One, blessed be He. It is written of them, “Your people also shall be all righteous; they shall inherit the land forever” (Yeshayahu 60:21).
