כִּ֣י מִ֣י בַז֮ לְי֣וֹם קְטַנּוֹת֒ וְשָׂמְח֗וּ וְרָא֞וּ אֶת־הָאֶ֧בֶן הַבְּדִ֛יל בְּיַ֥ד זְרֻבָּבֶ֖ל שִׁבְעָה־אֵ֑לֶּה עֵינֵ֣י יְהוָ֔ה הֵ֥מָּה מְשׁוֹטְטִ֖ים בְּכָל־הָאָֽרֶץ׃

Per chi ha disprezzato il giorno delle piccole cose? anche loro vedranno con gioia il precipitare nella mano di Zerubbabel, anche questi sette, che sono gli occhi dell'Eterno, che corrono avanti e indietro attraverso tutta la terra.'

Zohar

It is written: "Truly the eye of Ad-nai is on those who fear Him, who wait for His faithful care" (Ps. 33:18). And it is [also] written "the eyes of Ad-nai, ranging over the whole earth" (Zechariah 4:10). If they merit, the eye of Ad-nai is on those who fear Him. If they don't merit, the eyes of Ad-nai ranging over - the lower eye.

Reshit Chokhmah

The advantage of one who unifies ‘night’ with ‘day’ via the study of Torah is explained by the verse “Behold, the eye of Hashem is toward them that fear Him, toward them that wait for His mercy; To deliver their soul from death, and to keep them alive in famine" (Psalms 33:18). The “eye of Hashem” was explained in the Zohar in the Idra Rabba: “54. It is written: “Behold, the eye of Hashem is upon those who fear him” (Tehilim 33:18) and it is also written: “The eyes of Hashem, they rove to and fro through the whole earth” (Zechariah 4:10). MEANING: If they merit, “the eye of Hashem is upon those who fear him”: that is, the upper eye OF ARICH ANPIN. If they have no merit, “the eyes of Hashem, they rove to and fro”: THAT IS the lower eye OF ZEIR ANPIN.” Certainly one who does this corrects the attribute of ‘Tzadik’ with the Shechinah, since a thread of grace is drawn to him and Her, as it says in many places. That which he caused separation to the Shechinah with the drop in vain, and the secret of the drop is ‘white’, which corresponds to Chesed as it says in the Tikkunei Zohar about “and the manna was like coriander seed” (Numbers 11:7); corresponding to this he ties ‘night’ with ‘day’ to receive the thread of grace (Chesed). As it says in the Zohar in Vayigash (verse 48) about the verse “Hashem, God of my Salvation” (Psalms 88:2) that one who wakes up at midnight and deals with the Torah is established with the attribute of “Tzadik Chai Haolam”, and then during the day he merits the thread of grace, thus “God of my Salvation”, since the thread of grace is redemption, as it says “save with Your right hand, and answer me” (Psalms 60:7), and we will not quote it here as to not lengthen.

Seven other eyes derive from the red color. These are the watchful judgment bearers (since the red color is the left column that is judgment). They are called “the eyes of Hashem run to and fro throughout the whole earth” (II Divrei Hayamim 16:9). The word ‘roam’ has a feminine plural suffix instead of masculine suffix. This is because they all pertain to judgments. Seven other eyes come out from the green color in the eye; prepared to reveal man’s actions, whether good or bad, as written, “For his eyes are upon the ways of man” (Iyov 34:21). These are called “the eyes of Hashem, they rove to and fro” (Zechariah 4:10) using a masculine suffix rather than feminine, because they move in two directions, for good and for evil. The green color is the central column that contains right and left that are Chesed and judgment. Hence it is referred to as masculine – Chesed shines with the male light. From the white color in the eye comes every mercy and every goodness in the world to do good to Israel, when all three colors of red, green and black are awash with the white color, which is mercy to have mercy on them.
