וְשָֽׁבַרְתִּי֙ בְּרִ֣יחַ דַּמֶּ֔שֶׂק וְהִכְרַתִּ֤י יוֹשֵׁב֙ מִבִּקְעַת־אָ֔וֶן וְתוֹמֵ֥ךְ שֵׁ֖בֶט מִבֵּ֣ית עֶ֑דֶן וְגָל֧וּ עַם־אֲרָ֛ם קִ֖ירָה אָמַ֥ר יְהוָֽה׃ (פ)

E romperò l'asticella di Damasco e taglierò l'abitante da Bikath-Aven, e colui che trattiene lo scettro da Beth-eden; e il popolo di Aram andrà in cattività a Kir, dice l'Eterno.
