לָ֠כֵן כֹּֽה־אָמַ֨ר יְהוָ֜ה אֱלֹהֵ֤י צְבָאוֹת֙ אֲדֹנָ֔י בְּכָל־רְחֹב֣וֹת מִסְפֵּ֔ד וּבְכָל־חוּצ֖וֹת יֹאמְר֣וּ הוֹ־ה֑וֹ וְקָרְא֤וּ אִכָּר֙ אֶל־אֵ֔בֶל וּמִסְפֵּ֖ד אֶל־י֥וֹדְעֵי נֶֽהִי׃
Perciò, così dice l'Eterno, l'Iddio degli eserciti, il Signore: Il lamento sarà in tutti i luoghi ampi, e diranno in tutte le strade: 'Ahimè! ahimè!' E chiameranno il lutto al lutto, e proclameranno lamento a coloro che sono abili nel piangere.
