Midrash su Deuteronomio 13:8
מֵאֱלֹהֵ֣י הָֽעַמִּ֗ים אֲשֶׁר֙ סְבִיבֹ֣תֵיכֶ֔ם הַקְּרֹבִ֣ים אֵלֶ֔יךָ א֖וֹ הָרְחֹקִ֣ים מִמֶּ֑ךָּ מִקְצֵ֥ה הָאָ֖רֶץ וְעַד־קְצֵ֥ה הָאָֽרֶץ׃
degli dei dei popoli che sono intorno a te, vicini a te, o lontani da te, da un'estremità della terra fino all'altra estremità della terra;
Sifrei Devarim
(Devarim 13:8) "Of the gods of the peoples around you, who are near to you or who are far from you": From what you know of (the inefficacy of the gods of) the near ones, you should know what the far ones are like.
