A Psalm. Sing to Adonoy, a new song²²This Psalm, like the previous ones, refers to the future when God will render final judgment on the world and its inhabitants. for He has performed wonders; His right hand effected deliverance for Him [as did] His holy arm. Adonoy has made known²³This will be made known through His prophets.—Etz Yosef His deliverance, before the eyes of the nations He has revealed His justice. He remembered His kindliness and faithfulness²⁴God will remember the kindness He promised to Israel, because of His faithfulness. —Etz Yosef to the House of Israel; all the ends of the earth have seen the deliverance of our God. Raise your voice unto Adonoy all [inhabitants of] the earth! burst forth into exultation, sing, and play music! Play to Adonoy with a harp, with harp and the sound of music. With trumpets and the sound of the shofar raise your voices before the King, Adonoy. The sea and its fullness, will roar with joy! [also] the world and those who dwell therein. Rivers will clap hands, together, mountains will sing. Before Adonoy when He comes to judge the earth; He will judge mankind with righteousness and peoples with uprightness.
