וַיָּ֤שֶׂם דָּוִיד֙ בַּאֲרַ֣ם דַּרְמֶ֔שֶׂק וַיְהִ֤י אֲרָם֙ לְדָוִ֔יד עֲבָדִ֖ים נֹשְׂאֵ֣י מִנְחָ֑ה וַיּ֤וֹשַׁע יְהוָה֙ לְדָוִ֔יד בְּכֹ֖ל אֲשֶׁ֥ר הָלָֽךְ׃
Davide si insediò in Aram di Damasco; e gli Aramei divennero servi di Davide, recando tributo. E il Signore diede vittoria a Davide dovunque andò.

Dovid placed officers in Aram Damesek and [the people of] Aram were slaves to Dovid bearers of [an annual] present. Adonoy protected Dovid wherever he went.
