וְגַ֣ם ׀ אֶת־מַעֲכָ֣ה אִמּ֗וֹ וַיְסִרֶ֙הָ֙ מִגְּבִירָ֔ה אֲשֶׁר־עָשְׂתָ֥ה מִפְלֶ֖צֶת לָאֲשֵׁרָ֑ה וַיִּכְרֹ֤ת אָסָא֙ אֶת־מִפְלַצְתָּ֔הּ וַיִּשְׂרֹ֖ף בְּנַ֥חַל קִדְרֽוֹן׃
E anche Maacà, sua madre, egli rimosse dall'essere regina madre, perché aveva fatto un'immagine orrenda per l'Asherà; e Asà abbatté la sua immagine orrenda e la bruciò nella valle del Kidron.
II Chronicles
And also Ma'achah, King Assa's mother, did he depose as queen for having made an obscenity for the asheirah. And Assa cut off her obscenity and ground (it) and burned (it) in the Kidron valley.
