וְעַתָּ֡ה תְּנוּ֩ אֶת־הָאֲנָשִׁ֨ים בְּנֵֽי־בְלִיַּ֜עַל אֲשֶׁ֤ר בַּגִּבְעָה֙ וּנְמִיתֵ֔ם וּנְבַעֲרָ֥ה רָעָ֖ה מִיִּשְׂרָאֵ֑ל וְלֹ֤א אָבוּ֙ [בְּנֵ֣י] בִּנְיָמִ֔ן לִשְׁמֹ֕עַ בְּק֖וֹל אֲחֵיהֶ֥ם בְּנֵֽי־יִשְׂרָאֵֽל׃
Ora quindi liberate gli uomini, i compagni di base che sono a Gibeah, affinché possiamo metterli a morte e mettere via il male da Israele.' Ma i figli di Benjamin non avrebbero ascoltato la voce dei loro fratelli, i figli d'Israele.
