וַיְדַבֵּ֣ר אֲלֵיהֶ֗ם כַּעֲצַ֤ת הַיְלָדִים֙ לֵאמֹ֔ר אָבִי֙ הִכְבִּ֣יד אֶֽת־עֻלְּכֶ֔ם וַאֲנִ֖י אֹסִ֣יף עַֽל־עֻלְּכֶ֑ם אָבִ֗י יִסַּ֤ר אֶתְכֶם֙ בַּשּׁוֹטִ֔ים וַאֲנִ֕י אֲיַסֵּ֥ר אֶתְכֶ֖ם בָּעַקְרַבִּֽים׃
E parlò loro secondo il consiglio dei giovani, dicendo: «Mio padre ha reso pesante il vostro giogo, e io aggiungerò al vostro giogo; mio padre vi ha castigati con le fruste, e io vi castigherò con gli scorpioni».
II Chronicles
And he spoke to them according to the counsel of the youngsters, saying: My father made your load heavy, and I will add to it. My father chastened you with whips, but I [will chasten you] with scorpions!
