וַיַּחְמֹל֩ שָׁא֨וּל וְהָעָ֜ם עַל־אֲגָ֗ג וְעַל־מֵיטַ֣ב הַצֹּאן֩ וְהַבָּקָ֨ר וְהַמִּשְׁנִ֤ים וְעַל־הַכָּרִים֙ וְעַל־כָּל־הַטּ֔וֹב וְלֹ֥א אָב֖וּ הַחֲרִימָ֑ם וְכָל־הַמְּלָאכָ֛ה נְמִבְזָ֥ה וְנָמֵ֖ס אֹתָ֥הּ הֶחֱרִֽימוּ׃ (פ)
Ma Saul e il popolo ebbero pietà di Agag e del meglio delle pecore e dei buoi, degli animali grassi e dei montoni ingrassati, e di tutto ciò che era buono, e non vollero votarli allo sterminio; ma tutto il bestiame vile e di scarto, quello votarono allo sterminio.
