וַיִּרְא֣וּ אַנְשֵֽׁי־יִ֠שְׂרָאֵל אֲשֶׁר־בְּעֵ֨בֶר הָעֵ֜מֶק וַאֲשֶׁ֣ר ׀ בְּעֵ֣בֶר הַיַּרְדֵּ֗ן כִּֽי־נָ֙סוּ֙ אַנְשֵׁ֣י יִשְׂרָאֵ֔ל וְכִי־מֵ֖תוּ שָׁא֣וּל וּבָנָ֑יו וַיַּעַזְב֤וּ אֶת־הֶֽעָרִים֙ וַיָּנֻ֔סוּ וַיָּבֹ֣אוּ פְלִשְׁתִּ֔ים וַיֵּֽשְׁב֖וּ בָּהֶֽן׃ (ס)
Quando gli uomini d'Israele che erano dall'altro lato della valle e quelli che erano dall'altro lato del Giordano videro che gli uomini d'Israele erano fuggiti e che Saul e i suoi figli erano morti, abbandonarono le città e fuggirono; e i Filistei vennero e vi si stabilirono.
I Chronicles
And all the men of Israel in the valley saw that they had fled and that Saul and his sons had died, and they left their cities and fled, and the Philistines came and dwelt in them.
