Targum su Deuteronomio 6:15
כִּ֣י אֵ֥ל קַנָּ֛א יְהוָ֥ה אֱלֹהֶ֖יךָ בְּקִרְבֶּ֑ךָ פֶּן־יֶ֠חֱרֶה אַף־יְהוָ֤ה אֱלֹהֶ֙יךָ֙ בָּ֔ךְ וְהִשְׁמִ֣ידְךָ֔ מֵעַ֖ל פְּנֵ֥י הָאֲדָמָֽה׃ (ס)
poiché un Dio geloso, perfino l'Eterno, il tuo DIO, è in mezzo a te; affinché l'ira dell'Eterno, il tuo DIO, non si accenda contro di te e ti distrugga dalla faccia della terra.
Targum Jonathan on Deuteronomy
for the Lord our God is a jealous God, and an Avenger, whose Shekinah dwelleth in the midst of you; lest the anger of the Lord your God be kindled against you, and He quickly destroy you from the face of the earth.
