וַיְחַזֵּ֥ק יְהוָ֖ה אֶת־לֵ֣ב פַּרְעֹ֑ה וְלֹ֥א שִׁלַּ֖ח אֶת־בְּנֵ֥י יִשְׂרָאֵֽל׃ (פ)
Ma il Signore rese forte il cuore di Faraone, e questi non lasciò andare i figli d’Israel.

But the Lord strengthened the design of Pharoh's heart, and he would not release the children of Israel.
