Targum su Esodo 19:22
וְגַ֧ם הַכֹּהֲנִ֛ים הַנִּגָּשִׁ֥ים אֶל־יְהוָ֖ה יִתְקַדָּ֑שׁוּ פֶּן־יִפְרֹ֥ץ בָּהֶ֖ם יְהוָֽה׃
Ed anche i sacerdoti, i quali si appressano al Signore [cioè celebrano i sacrifizi], contengansi santamente [rispettosi, e dentro i confini], affinché il Signore non ne faccia eccidio.
Targum Jonathan on Exodus
The priests, also, who approach to minister before the Lord, must be sanctified, lest the Lord destroy them.
