Targum su Esodo 7:24
וַיַּחְפְּר֧וּ כָל־מִצְרַ֛יִם סְבִיבֹ֥ת הַיְאֹ֖ר מַ֣יִם לִשְׁתּ֑וֹת כִּ֣י לֹ֤א יָֽכְלוּ֙ לִשְׁתֹּ֔ת מִמֵּימֵ֖י הַיְאֹֽר׃
Gli Egizi poi scavarono tutti intorno al Nilo (dei pozzi, per avere) acqua da bere, non potendo bere dell’acqua del Nilo.
Targum Jonathan on Exodus
And the Mizraee digged about the river for water to drink, but could not find them pure; for they were not able to drink of the water from the river.
