וַיְהִ֥י רָעָ֖ב בָּאָ֑רֶץ וַיֵּ֨רֶד אַבְרָ֤ם מִצְרַ֙יְמָה֙ לָג֣וּר שָׁ֔ם כִּֽי־כָבֵ֥ד הָרָעָ֖ב בָּאָֽרֶץ׃
Fu carestia nel paese, ed Abramo recossi in Egitto, per farvi dimora, la carestia essendo grave nel paese.
Targum Jonathan on Genesis
And there was a famine in the land, and Abram went down into Mizraim to be a dweller there, because the famine was strong in the land.
