Targum su Genesi 33:8
וַיֹּ֕אמֶר מִ֥י לְךָ֛ כָּל־הַמַּחֲנֶ֥ה הַזֶּ֖ה אֲשֶׁ֣ר פָּגָ֑שְׁתִּי וַיֹּ֕אמֶר לִמְצֹא־חֵ֖ן בְּעֵינֵ֥י אֲדֹנִֽי׃
(Esaù) disse: A che destini tu tutta quella schiera che ho incontrata? E (Giacobbe) disse: Per trovar grazia agli occhi del mio signore.
Targum Jonathan on Genesis
And he said, What to thee is all this troop that I have met? And he said, It is a present I have sent to find mercy in the eyes of my lord.
